It’s been a minute since we did a free motion quilting tutorial on a home sewing machine. But we just did a MAJOR restock on all of our Full Line Stencil free motion quilting supplies, so we thought now was the perfect time!

We’ve got about a month until Valentine’s Day and that means it is time to finish up all those red, white and pink quilts! We’ve got the perfect free motion quilting stitch for all your Valentine’s Day projects, the Sweetheart Meander.

This stencil and quilt design looks a lot more complicated than it actually is. When you break it down, it is essentially a series of curved swoops with lots of points for you to stop at and reassess where you are going next.
